Annie Lamott said…during writers cramp, ‘Oh, shit.”
It worked, and she’s been writing ever since.
So writing is solitude. Writing is solitary. Alone. No one else.
Harder than you think — practice is perfect in the moving of the fingers,
on the keyboard as if an ocean spray or many odd seagulls (flew over) so we see
the clear blue sky, and attend to our daily tasks. Freewriting may be
all I do now, in the morning, like any exercise — to limber up.
Free. Free. Free.
